Coach Jess' September 2014 Favorites

The month of September itself is one of my's my birthday month and the anniversary of Knockout Women's Boxing Club! It was a whirlwind of a month with all our anniversary festivities and I can't believe we are already a week into October.  The Holiday's will be here before we know it!

This month I didn't have too many new favorite things.  I started my budget and didn't allot myself much play money.  This wasn't 100% intentional, I'm just getting use to allocating all my funds and telling my money where to go.  I did choose this month to spend less money of personal items as I work towards paying down car and student loan debts and becoming financially free!

With all that said I did have some awesome favorites this month that I want to share with you!

  1. Osprey Ozone Courier Bag ($89.95, REI).  Getting a new laptop bag was LONG overdue for me.  My poor, awesome Lug Puddle Jumper had seen it's day.  So with some bday money I purchased this Osprey bag at REI.  It's lightweight, compact, has a secure, padded laptop compartment, water bottle holder and more! Love it!
  2. Trader Joe's Crunchy Salted Peanut Butter with Flax & Chia Seeds ($2.99, Trader Joe's).  I saw this at TJ's and thought "that looks interesting" and gave it a try.  The texture is surprisingly awesome and the flavor is great.  It's a yummy way to spice up your PB&J.
  3. Jason Aldean's Burning It Down ($1.29, iTunes).  All I can say is I LOVE this song! It's sexy country...enough said!
  4. Starbuck's Salted Caramel Mocha.  Fall is back and so are our favorite Fall drinks...mine is now the Starbuck's Salted Caramel Mocha (since we have no more Caribou Coffee's around I can't have my usual Fall Fav Campfire Mocha, but this drink from sbux will do!)
  5. Marzetti's Old Fashioned Caramel Dip ($4.29, Jewel).  I have been loving cutting up apples and dipping them in this yummy goodness.  It's a great snack and way for me to eat more fruit.
  6. Makeup Geek Soft Dome Brush. ($7.99, MUG).  This makeup junky loves her brushes and loves them even more when they are great quality and affordable.  This soft, small dome brush is great for blending out shadow in the crease, and lightly applying a wash of color all over the lid.
  7. Deadlifts.  Okay so these aren't just a monthly favorite this month, I always love deadlifts! Nothing is better than pulling a loaded barbell off the floor.  You feel strong and your full body is working! Weight lifting is so important for women and when done properly this move has tons of benefits.  Remember to start off with 1-legged deadlifts and work up to barbell deadlifts slowly! Form is key!
  8. Champy Favorite:  Blue Buffalo Boo Bars.  They are pumpkin and cinnamon all natural treats.  He loves these and they smell deliciously like Fall!

Well that's all for my September favorites.  Like I said this month seemed to be over before it started.  I already have a list going for October Favorites and can't wait to share those with you in a few weeks! Have  a great month!
