Welcome to Adamas Strength + Fitness in Westmont! We are a community of real people who are serious about fitness and want to have fun getting fit too! We are desk jockeys, nerds, husbands, wives, busy professionals, stay-at-home parents, beginners, lifelong athletes and everything in-between. We are all tired of being frustrated by the lack of results from gimmicks & quick fixes! We want to be healthy, happy and strong for life! And most importantly, we are more than a gym (traditional gyms suck), we are a tribe of people working towards being our best in and out of Adamas!
Coach Jess created ASF to help as many people as possible experience their lives to the fullest! When over one third of our population is overweight and the majority aren't comfortable at a gym or don't know where to start, she wants to be part of the long term solution by providing evidenced based strategies that are sustainable. She cares about every person who walks through our doors and will give you the caring, no nonsense approach you need to change your body and life!
I started ASF in 2011 to create a place for people to train and escape the BS of the mainstream fitness industry.
My goal is to provide you with the environment, tools, and coaching necessary to live a strong, healthy life. I want to instill confidence and competence so at some point you no longer need Adamas, but instead choose to continue to be part of our community.
I'm a lifelong lifter, StrongFirst Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor, two-time Chicago Golden Gloves Champion, and trained psychotherapist & life coach.
I graduated from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with an MA in Clinical Psychology and received her BA in Criminal/Social Justice and Psychology from Lewis University.
Most importantly...I’m like rainman and know everyone’s name - I love Funko Pops - and I’m a Michael Jackson super fan!
